Apartment 17

Snuggles walked into her apartment it had been a fun day at the park and mall. She grabbed her denta bone and laid in her bed

A bit later there was a knock on the door. A pretty young teenager, who must be a dog-sitter, brought little Muffin in. She greeted the apartment owner while Muffin scampered around excitedly. "Wow! I, like, love your home! It's so nice!" She breathed, gazing around.

When the bell rang snuggles put her bone back in its hiding spot "hey muffin!" She said happiliy "didn't think you were coming today"

Muffin looked embarrassed. "Oh, sorry! I thought like, when you invited me you meant today! Guess I got, like, a little too eager, huh?" She whimpered sorrowfully.

"its fine" she said licking muffins head "I just wasnt expecting you today but it's still cool that your here" she smiled

Muffin started spinning in circles like she did when she was happy. "Yay! What do you want to do?" She asked, stopping after a moment.

Suddenly before any more words could be spoken, there was a scratching noise at the door. Muffin lifted her head and padded over. She sniffed the bottom of the door, before giving out a happy yelp. "Chance is here!" She barked over to Snuggles. "I think he' alone though. I don't smell any humans."

Snuggles nodded and whined. Her owner quickly laughed and hoped up the door. "hey chance" snuggles said

Chance padded in, wagging his tail happily. "Hey Snuggles! Hey Muffin!" He barked. "Nice place, by the way."

Richy padded into the room "Hi everyone"

Muffin tilted her head as another dog padded in. "Um, Snuggles? I know you invited me and Chance over, but who is he...?" She asked, flicking her ears towards Richy. "He looks about my age."

Chance did't take any notice to the unexpected. "Hey there. I'm Chance!" He barked in warm welcoming to the golden retriever puppy. "Do you know Muffin and Snuggles?"

"thanks chance, oh this is my new roomate, richly" she said padding up to the puppy

Muffin didn't know what to say. Finally she spoke. "Hi...I'm Muffin." She murmured quietly.

Chance looked around a bit.

"Hi as she said I'm Richy" he barked happily

snuggles padded around to a small bin filled with chew toys. "any one want to play?" she asked.

"Sure!" Muffin squeaked happily, diving at a toy.

Chance rolled his eyes with amusement. "Never see a chew toy before, Muffin?" He teased playfully, laughing.

Snuggles smiled at chances remark and passed one of her toys to muffin and chance

ic: Muffin instantly pounced on the toy, whimpering in happiness. She rolled over with it, gnawing gently on it every now and then, her tail wagging madly. Chance shook his head, eyes glittering with amusement. "The joy a simple chew toy can give a puppy." He laughed.

"i know" she said grabbing a ball and kicking t at chance

Chance let out a bark and kicked it back, wagging his tail playfully.

Snuggles passed it back and went over to her doggy dish to get a drink

Chance rolled on his back and batted it in the air with his paws. Muffin suddenly leaped over him, snatching the toy in mid-air with her teeth and landing beside him, dropping it. "Hey!" Chance growled playfully, leaping onto Muffin, where they rolled across the floor, play-fighting.

Richy ran into his crate and grabbed his toy stuffed duck and padded over to the other dogs and barked "Who wants to play catch?"

Muffin scrambled away from Chance. "I do!" She exclaimed happily, crouching, ready for the toy to come flying towards her! Chance came over more calmly. "Sure I'll play, if Muffin doesn't run off with this toy." He laughed in the way dogs 'laugh'.

"Okay!" he barked happily and tossed the duck in the direction of Muffin "Heads up Muffin!"

Muffin leaped up, snatching the toy from the air and landing gracefully on four feet. She tossed it to Chance, who caught it with ease and threw it back to Richy. "Come on and play Snuggles!" Chance barked playfully.
