The coming of a new cat...

Ghost walked through the alleys, exhausted from his journey. "Grey! Where are you?!"he called out. He had followed his brother's scent trail, but it ended at the city. The only things that he could do wer search for him, or accept he was killed.

Rebel looked around as he heard the cat's voice calling out for someone. He'd got out of his apartment again. Who knew how he'd ended up down here? The cat appeared to be looking for someone, so he went over to it. He of all people would be able to help.
"Looking for someone?" He asked him curiously, tilting his head and trying to look as nonthreatening as possible.

Ghost looked up at the dog. He seemed as if he could help Ghost. "Yeah, you know him?"

Rebel tilted his head.
"Who is it you're looking for?" He asked him. "I might do."

"Grey," he said hanging his head.

Rebel's tail dropped.
"Don't know him." He said gloomily. "But hey," His tail rose to wag excitedly again as another idea hit him. "If you have anything that belongs to him I can track him down."

"What do you think? I just take what he touches?"

Rebel shook his head.
"Do you know somewhere he's definitely been recently?" He asked him. "Do you know where to find something that belongs to him?"

"No, and no." he replied. I'm starting to hate this dog...

Rebel thought for a minute.
"Have you been following a scent trail?" He asked him suddenly. "What made you come and search here?"

"Let's just say, his trail stopped here." he replied.

Rebel nodded and put his nose to the ground, searching. It was about a minute before he found the scent trail the cat must have been following. He sniffed around a little more, following the trail back a little way, and found a place where it branched off.
"He must've come back on himself." Rebel commented.
